How Creators Join PROOF

There are two ways to join PROOF as a creator. Either path lands you in the same dashboard.

Path 1 — Sign up directly. Visit /register/creator, enter your email, display name, niche, primary platform, and handle. Browse the public campaign feed and apply with your content concept. When a brand approves your application, your account activates and you're paid the flat rate (minus a 17.5% take-rate) on content approval.

Path 2 — Brand-direct invite. If a brand discovers you in our 92M+ creator index and sends an offer, you'll receive an email with a magic link to view and respond. Accept the offer and your account is created automatically — no separate signup needed.

Either way, you log in via magic link (passwordless) — no passwords to set or remember.

Magic Link Authentication

PROOF uses passwordless authentication for creators. Instead of setting a password, you'll receive a magic link via email every time you need to log in. Click the link and you're in — no passwords to remember.

Connecting Social Accounts

PROOF only asks you to connect your social account at the moment a brand accepts you for a contract — not at signup. Until that point, we hold only your email, display name, niche, and platform handle. This keeps your data minimal and complies with Australian Privacy Principle 3 (collection only when reasonably necessary).

When a brand accepts your application or offer, you'll see a banner on your contract detail page prompting you to connect via platform OAuth. The reasons it matters:

• Verified metrics auto-trigger your tier payouts — you don't have to manually report numbers
• Brands trust verified data, which means stronger contract terms next time
• Your engagement rate and audience quality are calculated from real data, not estimates
• Your Creator Power Score improves with verified account connections
