When does my card actually get charged?+
Never on campaign creation. The escrow amount for a contract captures only when that specific creator accepts the offer. If they decline or the 14-day offer window expires, nothing is charged. Unreleased escrow at tracking-window close auto-refunds.
How are creator metrics verified?+
Creators authorize their platform accounts through Phyllo OAuth once. PROOF then receives real-time webhooks from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X showing view / like / comment / save counts per post, with a 6-hour polling fallback if webhooks drop. These metrics trigger tier payouts automatically.
Do I need to pay creators in their currency?+
No. PROOF is AU-based (ABN 39 696 947 118) and handles cross-border payments via Stripe Connect. Creators receive funds in their local currency through Stripe Express. Tax handling is automatic — AU GST for AU creators, reverse-charge VAT for EU, standard US SaaS tax where applicable.
